Primary education is necessary for everyone and we get this compulsory education from different institution. The institution where children get their first preliminary state of elementary education is known as an elementary school. The elementary schools, elementary instruction and manual training is provided to the children. These schools mainly emphasis on arithmetic, reading and writing. Working of these schools are based on the monitorial system. In these schools one teacher teaches the large class and a team of monitors generally the older pupils assist the teacher. The teachers pay is also depend on the results. There is a precise standard in arithmetic reading and writing which is followed by the teacher while teaching.
